Awesome Pizza
I always defaulted to this place for a quality pizza... one day I ordered a pizza for delivery and the delivery boy was so lazy he refused to walk up the stairs to my apartment! If I wanted to walk to get my pizza... I would've walked down the street to Nizario's, wtf is that?

Okay... not great. by Mikey U. at InsiderPages
The pizza is less than ideal; grease and a not-so-thin crust make for a saggy slice. But for its lesser quality, it is cheap and does a grand job of coating the tummy and soaking up alcohol; I woke up this morning feeling like heck, but less like heck than I normally would.

Pizza is Great by R f. at InsiderPages
The place is small for customers but the place is always crowded because their pizza taste great. Parking in this area is not easy especially at night time so I suggest take public transportation. Price is reasonable and the service is good. Their delivery is always on time. I tried it before and I am coming back.

Of the Fast Food Style Pizzas This is One I Can Stand... I Guess
I grew up down the street from this place, so it has a spot in my heart. Here's what's good about this place, the prices are ridiculously good, 11 dollars for an extra large. It is similar to a New York style in and out pizzeria in that the guys hustle you but are strangely polite and that the pizza tastes good. I usually hate this style of pizza, but they do it right.

Pros: Looks like a NY pizza dump, pizza is good for that fast food style Californians only know about
Cons: If you think Blondies pizza is good, nothing I guess. You'll probably think you had the best pizza in the world here. You'd be mistaken completely.

Good Pizza But Dishonest Employees
I have been ordering pizza for delivery from Nizario?s on 18th Street for the past few years. Great tasting pizza and free delivery, but this place is run by a bunch of crooks. I have a menu from Nizario?s which shows the price of a medium Castro Special Pizza for $15.85, the same amount I have been paying for some time. I called in to place a delivery order for the medium Castro Special ($15.85) and a Greek Salad ($4.95) and was quoted $23.97. However, my calculations with tax came out to be around $22.66. I did not think too much of it at the time I was placing the order and their menu does state that ?prices are subject to change without notice? ? fine. When the delivery guy was at my door I asked him what I owe him and he quoted me $25.00. I asked for the receipt and he was very hesitant to give it to me saying how it was in bad shape and ripped. I ended up getting the receipt and saw that my bill was $23.97, not $25.00. I would have happily paid the $23.97 and gave him a nice tip, but at this point I felt like he lied to me and I was upset. I immediately called Nizario?s on 18th Street and asked how much their medium Castro Special is. I was told $18.20! I explained to the guy on the phone that on their menu it states $15.85 and then was quoted $16.85 when I placed the order. I then asked him what the price really was because now I had three different prices. I called their other location on Geary and was quoted $17.20 for a medium size pizza. I am really not so tight with my money, but when I get lied to it infuriates me. I think that when they state that prices are subject to change they mean that they change every five minutes. In my opinion, this a great example of EXTREMELY bad business tactics.
